Clone tool
The Clone tool lets you paint a copy of some part of an
image into the same image. This tool is very useful for removing defects in one portion of
the image by duplicating another portion.
To do so :
- Select the clone tool in from the toolbar (N).
- Alt-click to define the source element. This source element is in fact the sample point from which the image will begin to be duplicated as you paint.
- Drag to clone the source element in another part of the image.
- Modify the options of this tool in the Clone options palette.
Using
clone tool you have an easy way to draw straight lines as
you do when using the drawing tools
